It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our fellow ukulelist, Dave,
on Saturday 1st June 2024 aged 85.
Dave joined the Sleaford Ukulele Orchestra on Tuesday 13th January 2009 and played his first gig the following Sunday!! A stalwart member for over 15 years, despite his age Dave always enjoyed playing the live gigs. Ill health precluded him taking part in recent gigs but, when feeling up to it, Dave continued to come and support his colleagues.
You will be sorely missed, Dave, Rest In Peace.
